Holy Rest

At 6 Ten Ranch, you can experience quiet beauty in the midst of this loud world. Our goal is to create a place for Heaven to invade earth, in your life, through resting in God’s Presence…and being still long enough to hear His voice.

The Ranch

Situated on 50 lush crossed-fenced acres, this 4400 sf log cabin, with open concept living room, holds a large grand room with vaulted ceilings, 4 separate bedrooms each with king size beds, a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds both with trundle beds, 3 full bathrooms with showers, fully furnished kitchen, washer/dryer, 5 flat screen tv’s, pool table, 5 acre lake with pier, stone chapel, large outdoor grilling covered patio, basketball court, private playground, multiple wood benches for sitting and relaxing, covered patio with table and 6 chairs, security gate with code, full security system with cameras.

6 Ten Ranch is located in beautiful East Texas, about 47 minutes South and East of downtown Dallas. It is also less than 30 minutes from the popular Canton Trade Days, and only 10 minutes from Cedar Creek Lake. It is less than 10 minutes to small town shopping and many restaurants in Mabank & Gun Barrel City

The purpose of 6 Ten Ranch is to provide solitude and a quiet get-away from the busyness of life.

6 Ten Ranch is a wonderful spot for a sabbatical, an individual vision retreat, a marriage retreat, a respite during a difficult season, or a quiet place to write or create.

If you’re in need of a place of solitude to hear the Lord speak, be refreshed, find some rest, or just have some downtime, we are here.

Our Story

6 Ten Ranch is family owned and operated by the Durham family.

Monty and Stacy have been married for 19 years and have 4 amazing children. They have always felt a call to care for the hearts of those who live their lives surrendered to the beautiful work of the Lord. Growing up as a “pastors kid,” Stacy knew that living a life of obedience to the Lord required intentional times of rest and renewing with Him…with no demands, just surrender. With this Hope fueling their vision, they prayed, for over a decade, for a small piece of land that could host those in need of some solitude with their Savior.

And in 2018, 6 Ten Ranch was bought and built with one goal in mind…Matthew 6:10…”His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” in every heart that steps onto the property.

Book for an Individual or Couple

*Our hearts are to provide a place for individuals or a couple to stay at 6 Ten Ranch without a set cost. We have a one time cleaning fee of $150 that we ask our guest to cover, and anything beyond that would be a donation back into the Ranch, but is not expected.

We are a 501(c)3 and you can give to 6 Ten Ministry LLC.
